Pastor Rodney E. Barlow
A Prophetic Visionary Leader
Dr. Rodney E. Barlow is God’s visionary for Building Lives Christian Center (B.L.C.C.), located in Greensboro, NC. Dr. Barlow’s uncompromising and bold teaching of God’s Word has changed the lives of people at B.L.C.C. and surrounding cities.
Educationally, he has earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 1991. Also, he has earned a Doctorate of Theology degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in 2003.
Rodney Barlow is a dedicated family man. He is married to Va-Lencia Barlow. He is the father of one daughter, Victoria M. Barlow.
Va-Lencia M. Barlow
Va-Lencia M. Barlow, was raised in Wilson, NC. Va-Lencia graduated with honors from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education in 1989. She worked in the Wilson County Public Schools Systems. Va-Lencia worked as the Director of Evangel Fellowship Daycare Academy for seven years in Greensboro, NC.
Va-Lencia founded and conducted a learning lab for children as well as taught private home schooling. She is presently the principal of Building Lives Christian Academy.
Va-Lencia assists her husband in many different areas of ministry: Administration, children’s ministry, intercessory prayer ministry, and the ministry of the Word of God.

that there is one true universal church made up of genuine believers, but this one universal church is also composed of many local churches in given localities.
